Magnetic electrostatic separation production line is a beneficiation method utilizes magnetic separation and electrostatic separation combined processing to reach mineral finetreatment. Magnetic separation is a process in which magnetically susceptible material is extracted from a mixture using a magnetic force. Electrostatic separation is a process that uses electrostatic charges to separate crushed particles of material. An industrial process used to separate large amounts of material particles, electrostatic separating is most often used in the process of sorting mineral ore. This process can help remove valuable material from ore, or it can help remove foreign material to purify a substance. In mining, the process of crushing mining ore into particles for the purpose of separating minerals is called beneficiation.
 
Machine Introduction
The drum permanent high-intensity magnetic separator uses the magnetic source from high-performance permanent rare earth elements neodymium, iron and boron through aggregation. This machine is advantaged in light weight, high magnetic field intensity, low power consumption, stable performance and wide applications. This machine is mainly used for separation and refining of the manganese ore, rare earth ore, niobium-tantalum ore, limonite, chromite, titanium ore, zircon, monazite, rutile, garnet and andalusite, as well as for removal of irons from non-metallic materials like quartz and feldspar.
 
Electrostatic separator is a dry-type equipment which performs separation in high-voltage corona field based on the difference of materials in electric performance. It is suitable to mechanical pilot feeder of fine powder. Heating device is installed inside the separation drum. It features in wide range of electric field, powerful electric strength, stable electromechanical performance, high efficiency and low energy consumption. The complete machine is available in multiple structure arrangements, including single-layer, two-layer, three-layer and double-roller in parallel. The multi-layer electric separator can perform rough separating, cleaning, scavenging and spoil reclaiming within the machine as needed, resulting in simplified operation and enhanced efficiency.
 
Arc trigger performs separation under the electric intensity and gravity force based on the difference of minerals in their conductivity and the variation of electrostatic force applied on these minerals when they pass through the electric field. It is suitable to separation of conductive mineral and non-conductive mineral, thus to obtain high-grade conductive concentrates and non-conductive concentrates, e.g. rutile ore and zircon ore. It may be used in combination with single-disc separator, double-disc separator, permanent magnetic separator and electromagnetic separator. This machine is equipped with 0-45000V high-voltage generator, so that it can also be used for separating the high-phosphorus ore or rutile ore that is difficult to separate.
